Bradypus Ride Costa Rica ("we") runs gocostaricatours.com and offers tours, cruise shore excursions and private transportation in Costa Rica. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and your choices.

1. Information we collect

  • Booking details you give us: full name, email, WhatsApp/iMessage number, cruise ship, tour date, number of passengers, pickup location and any notes (e.g., dietary or mobility needs).

  • Messages you send us by WhatsApp, email, Facebook, Instagram or our website forms.

  • Payments are processed by Squarespace and its payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.

  • Website usage data (pages visited, device, browser, approximate location) collected through cookies and similar tools.

2. How we use it

  • To confirm and manage your booking and send your confirmation and invoice.

  • To coordinate pickup, guides and drivers, and contact you on tour day.

  • To buy national park entrance tickets when a tour includes them (parks may require each visitor's name and ID/passport number).

  • To answer your questions, improve our website and, if you subscribe, send occasional news (unsubscribe anytime).

  • To measure and show ads for our tours on Facebook and Instagram.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with:

  • the guides and drivers operating your tour;

  • national park authorities (SINAC) for entrance tickets;

  • service providers that run our business: Squarespace (website, bookings, payments), Google (email, reCAPTCHA) and Meta (WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, Meta Pixel);

  • authorities when required by law.

4. Cookies and Meta Pixel

Our site uses Squarespace cookies and the Meta Pixel to work properly, understand visits and measure our ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser and manage ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram settings.

5. How long we keep it

We keep booking information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet accounting and tax obligations.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop marketing to you, by writing to bradypusridecr@gmail.com. We handle personal data in line with Costa Rica's Law No. 8968 on the Protection of Persons Regarding the Processing of their Personal Data.

7. Children

Bookings are made by adults. We only receive children's names or ages when a parent or guardian provides them for a booking.

8. Security and changes

We take reasonable measures to protect your information. We may update this policy, and the date above shows the latest version.
